Submersible Water Pump, GOCHANGE 60W

If you are planning a small pond for your garden, as an extra eye-catching feature, you will probably already that you need to invest in a pond pump.  This is not only to give the pond some movement and to push water through various water features but to help keep the water in the pond being crystal clear and free of dirt and toxins.  This is especially important if you intend to keep fish in your pond and would like other wildlife to visit it from time to time.  While we are sure this is an easy enough concept to understand, so that is all well and good.  However, if you have ever typed pond pumps into a search engine, you will be staggered at the number of results it gives you.

Therefore, it is not just about choosing the first pond pump you come across, as you need to put a lot more thought into the decision.  It should not just be based on price either, as this is not always a good indication of quality.  Rather it should be a combination of factors.  We would always recommend that you take a look at reviews such as this one regarding the Submersible Water Pump for Aquarium, Fish Tank, Water Fountain, Hydroponic Pond.  As we hope we can show you why you should consider purchasing this pond pump.

Aesthetically, it may not be the most appealing to look at, but what it lacks in good looks, it makes up for in performance and functionality.  The Submersible Water Pump, GOCHANGE 60W 3600L/H 3M Powerhead is fully submersible.  Further to that it also has a very long lasting and completely waterproof ceramic shaft.  So you know that this pump has been built to last.

Maximum Flow Rate

Further to what we said above, the fact is that looks aren’t really what is important when it comes to good pond pumps.  It is more to do with what is going on underneath the casing and what it is capable of.  We are talking about the flow rate and head height.  Although it may not seem like that much, the 3600 litres per hour that this pump can produce, and the maximum head height of 3 metres, making this a good investment for the asking price.

Although there are other pumps that offer you greater versatility when it comes to the outlet sizing, the GOChange submersible water pump does give you the option to use either 22 mm or 19 mm sized piping.  Two sizes are definitely better than one and it still means that this pump will work with a variety of different set-ups.

Power Usage

This pond pump has a relatively low price, which is amazing when you consider the fact that compared to others similarly priced that is only powered by a 30 Watts or lower motor, the GOChange submersible pump is driven by a 60 Watts motor.

At the low price that this pump is available, it is not entirely surprising that it is very little in the way of accessories and extras that come with it.  That said, it still comes with 4 gaskets, 2 different outlet adaptors and the obligatory mains cabling.

At the time of writing, we could find no information regarding a warranty or guarantee.

What else is left to say?  When you look at all of the information above, from the sales material down to the hard facts (or in this case, very soft facts) about this pump found in the customer comments of Amazon UK, there is a lot to shout and praise about and therefore a lot to entice you towards buying one.  Just remember what we covered in the outset of this review though – consider all of the factors and weigh up whether this ticks enough boxes for you, before investing in the Submersible Water Pump, GOCHANGE 60W 3600L/H 3M Powerhead with 1.4M Power Cord.
